Fleet Intelligence

Track the fleet. Then understand it.

Live ADS-B tracking with real aeronautical charts, predictive airspace-hazard alerts, and fused engine-data analysis from your JPI/EDM downloads — the map and the telemetry on one time axis, so you can point at a moment and see everything that was happening.

Hobbs Live Fleet map — real-time ADS-B aircraft positions with altitude, groundspeed, and home base
Flight tracks

Every rental, its own track.

The Live Fleet map plots the whole fleet from ADS-B in real time, over the FAA's own seamless VFR sectional, terminal-area, and IFR-enroute chart tiles. And the moment an aircraft goes wheels-up on a reservation, Hobbs captures the track automatically and files it against the flight — duration, max altitude, and a deep link to the full FlightAware playback.

  • Real-time ADS-B positions with FAA sectional / TAC / IFR overlays
  • Automatic per-rental track capture — duration, max altitude, route
  • FlightAware deep-links for the full replay
  • Ties to the reservation, member, and closeout

Airspace hazard monitoring

A heads-up before the airspace becomes a problem.

Hobbs projects each airborne aircraft's path and warns when it's heading toward an active TFR — or a SIGMET, AIRMET, or G-AIRMET weather hazard. One conflict engine, every hazard type, with ETA-to-boundary and closest-approach distance.

  • TFR overlay on the fleet map, refreshed on a server cadence
  • Predictive conflict alerts: info at 15 min, warning at 5 min or inside
  • Weather-hazard polygons (SIGMET / AIRMET / G-AIRMET) share the engine
  • Tuned conservatively with altitude buffers and cooldowns

Engine data analysis

Drop in a JPI file. Get the whole flight back.

Upload a JPI/EDM download — ops, an owner, or a mechanic with a link — and Hobbs identifies the aircraft from the file itself, splits it into flights, ties each to a reservation and member, and fuses it with the ADS-B track. One scrubber drives the map and the engine charts together.

  • Per-cylinder EGT & CHT, oil temp/pressure, RPM, fuel flow, volts
  • Exceedances measured against the owner's own configured alarm limits
  • OAT-normalized so summer flights don't read as a hot engine
  • Alignment-confidence chip — honest about clock drift, never a silent stretch

On every device

The fleet in your members' pocket.

Members see their own flights, tracks, and closeouts on the native app; owners get utilization and revenue per tail. The same data, rendered for whoever's looking at it.

  • Native app flight history and live track view
  • Per-tail utilization, hours, and revenue for owners
  • Flight tracks with max altitude, duration, and FlightAware deep-links

Under the hood

Serious data, handled seriously.

Aircraft resolved from the fileThe JPI $U record identifies the tail — no picking from a list, no cross-tenant writes.
Flight-level dedupeRe-uploading overlapping downloads adds only the genuinely new flights.
Honest labelingADS-B groundspeed is called groundspeed — never overspeed.
Two instruments, cross-checkedDecoded engine duration validated against ADS-B wheels-up-to-wheels-down.

Airspace and engine-data features are advisory situational-awareness aids, not certified conflict-avoidance or airworthiness systems. The pilot-in-command and maintenance provider remain responsible.
